Les Grand Champs is a former gravel workings which has matured nicely into a well establish lake, packed with features both visible and non-visible.

The lake has a unique shape; it is over 1km in length with a maximum width of 150yards at one end, down to 100yards at the other end, with depths ranging from 3ft to 12ft with fishing only being permitted from one bank side.

There are 20 swims available on Les Grand Champs, 5 of which are doubles so they are ideal for a social or club trip, with a maximum of 14 anglers allowed at any one time, so you can move around as much as you want. Throughout the lake you will find gravel bars, plateaus, holes and trench’s, in addition to these features, at one end of the lake you will find two Islands.

Les Grand Champs can offer excellent margin fishing with over hanging trees and bushes, the far bank being exceptional for this kind of fishing. Access around the lake is very good, with good pathways running around it, you can drop your tackle by your swim, and then park your car in the car park.

The fish in Les Grand Champs have been virtually unfished for the past 25years according to the locals.

The present owners acquired the lake 2yrs ago, and in that time have done great deal of work to turn Les Grand Champs into a stunning venue.

There is a good healthy stock of fish in Les Grand Champs, which is virtually split 50/50 with Commons and Mirrors in excess of 50lb, with a few 40s and good stock of backup 30s and high 20s. The lake also contains Grass carp and Sturgeon; the owners have added a further stocking of 65 Carp up to 50lb

There is a brand new purpose built shower and toilet block with basins, with one of the showers and toilets being disabled friendly, the whole block has been fitted out to a very high standard. A large chest freezer for storing all your bait and you will also find plenty of English sockets for charging your batteries, phones, etc inside the block.

Connected to the block, there is also an onsite shop with good supply of end tackle, bait and particles; you can also purchase snacks and beer from the shop, and if you need to ring home, there is a payphone available. A daily shopping service is available should you not want to leave the lake.

Outside the block, there is a large decked area with tables and chairs and a BBQ available for you to use and chill out on away from the hectic action of the lake.

For your security, the whole lake and surrounding land is fully fenced with entry being by electric gates.
