Being 12acres in size, with depths ranging from 3 to 9ft, the lake bed is snag free and is mostly sand with plenty of gravel bars & patches of silt, with its large central island there are plenty of options for the angler in every swim with no big casting necessary. 

There are 12 swims available with a maximum of 8 anglers allowed at any one time, so should you want to move around the lake there are always plenty of options available. All the swims are large and purpose built and can comfortably accommodate the largest of bivvies.
 

Access around the lake is excellent; you can drive your car round the entire lake, drop your gear off, and then park it up in the car park.

Lac Sebastian is home to a large head of healthy big Carp, the English owner who lives on site is always on hand to give you plenty of tips and hints so you can be assured plenty of action, there are over 350 fish in Lac Sebastian with

approx 100 x 30’s, 30 x 40’s and 4 known 50’s with the current record standing at 53lb 4oz, the lake also has a good head of back up 20’s, visitors to Sebastian should expect to leave with their arms aching.

Along with the Carp the lake also holds approximately 30 Cats up to 75/80lb these have just been joined by a further 6 Cats with weights  ranging from 50 to 120lb. The lake also has a couple of trophy fish, 2 Diamond Back Sturgeon up to 46lb which just love to have their picture taken, expect battles of upwards of 30minutes should you be lucky enough to hook one.

There are plenty of facilities available at Lac Sebastian, a fully equipped lodge with bar selling drinks snacks/meals, large eating area, Sky TV, fully stocked tackle and bait shop, bait boat hire; a large terraced area with BBQ that over looks the lake. English style toilets and shower with plenty of hot running water available 24/7. Should you want to get out and about, the local village is less than 10mins away by car.

A food package is also available which includes a full English breakfast with plenty of tea & coffee and an evening meal accompanied with beer or wine. Should you not wish to take advantage of the food package and not want to leave the lake, the Owner is more than happy to go out and do your shopping for you.

Lac Sebastian is a dream lake to fish, the fishing can be extremely rewarding and frantic, the venue is very popular with its guest’s many booking for return trips, and the fish in the lake are of a very high calibre and will tire out even the most ardent angler. The facilities are very good and the owner is always on hand to offer as much help or as little as you want.
