Etang Des Moustaches is a little less than 5 acres, and was in a former life a stone quarry, hence the reason for its incredible depths. Starting in its central bay it goes from 2ft then drops to 6 metres which forms a ledge that runs around the lakes perimeter, then drops down to 13 metres, but there are two holes in the bed of the lake that drop down a further 3 metres making the depth 16 metres overall. The lakebed is full of plateaus and bars and has a good covering of weed on the bottom, all excellent hot spots.

Etang Des Moustaches is tree lined on three sides and these hang over into the water giving the specimen cats plenty of hunting ground, the rock face opposite the swims has plenty of bushes and a few trees growing out of its face, all of which hang over into the lake, again offering the angler further features to catch his quarry.

There are only four swims on this lake due to the size and stocking, they are all on flat grassy banks and are very spacious making bivvying up very easy and comfortable, they have been divided into four swims with two on each side of the central bay area.
The lake and surrounding land is fully secure, with security fencing running around its perimeter.

Etang Des Moustaches has been stocked with a large head of specimen-sized Catfish with 12 Catfish over the 100lb barrier, with 3 of them breaking the 150lb barrier.

There was a further ton of Catfish stocked in 2005, which were introduced into the lake up to 60lb.

Along with these stockings, 3 Albino Catfish were stocked ranging from 25lb to 35lb.

To complement the Catfish and to offer some diversity, the owner stocked 25 Sturgeon between 15lb and 30lb early in 2006, the lake also holds a small head of Carp.

These fish have received no pressure at all, the owner of the lake is a reputable fish farmer and stocked it for his, and for his close friends personal use, but has now decided to share his passion for Cat fishing with the other specimen hunters out there.

Etang Des Moustaches has for your own exclusive use, a log cabin that is fitted out with a 2-ring Gas stove, a sink, cupboards and workspace, and a dining table for when the weather is against eating out doors.

Outside over looking the lake there is a large bench style table and to the side of the cabin you will find a BBQ area, ideal for those social gatherings.

An English toilet and shower block, less than twenty yards from the cabin.
The owners have installed two separate weighing tripods with slings on both sides of the lake, designed specifically for big catfish. (You will need your own scales)

A fresh, delivery service twice daily, place your orders in the morning and they will be delivered back promptly in the afternoon.
Live bait will be available daily along with a selection of pellets. On the lake for your use are two boats, situated on either side of the central bay.
