Our brochures are printed many months before you go on your holiday, all information contained in the brochure is correct at the time of printing.
However changes do sometimes occur after the brochure has been published, if there are significant changes or mistakes we will advise you of this at the time of booking.

Booking your holiday.
Hooked on France are acting as booking agents for your holiday, when you book your holiday, you will be required to pay a deposit, or if it is less than 10 weeks prior to departure, the full cost of the holiday would be required.
Once you have booked and paid your deposit, a contract exists between Hooked on France and you. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party are aware of this contract and accept the whole of the contract. Our contract starts from the date we receive your booking and deposit and finishes when you have completed you holiday.
We will issue an invoice of your holiday, confirming all your details and price; please check all the paperwork that we send and call us immediately if you have any queries.
Your remaining balance is due 10 weeks before departure, if you have not paid the remaining balance of your holiday on the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday retain your deposit and you will also be charged a cancellation fee (charges on table below)
A charge of 2% will be applied to all credit card transactions.
Cancelling your holiday.
All cancellations must be sent in writing and be signed by the lead member of your party; your cancellation will take effect from the day we receive your written instructions. It is advisable to send any correspondence via either Recorded or Registered delivery as a signature is obtained as proof of delivery. In the event of a cancellation a charge will be applicable to you to cover our reasonable costs and charges from our lake owners respectively. In addition to retaining your deposit and any amendment charges you have paid, you will also be liable for the following charges which maybe recoverable from your insurance policy, depending upon its terms and conditions. It is strongly recommended that you take out suitable travel/holiday insurance.

Changes Made by Hooked on France.
Unfortunately from time to time we maybe forced to make changes to your holidays and arrangements, if so we will notify you immediately. If some of these changes make a significant impact on your holiday we will offer you the following opportunities.
- Withdraw from your contract and receive a full refund of all monies received.
- Accept our offer of a substitute holiday, of equal or higher value without you having to pay any additional money.
- Accept the changes and carry on with your holiday.
Changes beyond our control.
Changes can unfortunately at times occur which are totally beyond our control, even with all due care and attention we cannot foresee every problem, some are simply out of our control. These circumstances include,
- Industrial disputes.
- Road blockades.
- Port/airport congestion or closure.
- Ferry/plane suffering mechanical problems.
- Acts of terrorism.
- War.
- Nuclear disaster.
- Adverse weather conditions.
- Disease epidemics.
- Civil unrest.
- Fire.
- Floods.
In the event of any of these circumstances impacting your holiday, you will not be entitled to any form of compensation.
What if you need to change your holiday.
If you need to alter or amend your holiday booking, we will try to accommodate your changes as much as possible but it is advisable that you contact us as soon as possible to see if your request can be dealt with, any amendment is subject to availability and all amendments are subject to a £30 administration charge, plus any additional costs arising from the changes you make.
Your responsibility.
Hooked on France would like all our customers to have a very enjoyable and memorable holiday, but you must be aware that you are responsible for your own actions and that they may have affect on other people in your party or other guests at the venue you choose. You must at all times abide by the venues rules, where applicable, it is your responsibility to take care/look after your accommodation, if your actions result in damage to property, your behaviour is considered a risk to others, or is upsetting other guests, you maybe removed from the venue and no compensation be given out, if damage has occurred at the venue which has resulted in you being removed from the venue, you will be liable for costs involved of replacing or repairing damage.
Venue facilities.
The facilities advertised on our website and brochure are as up to date as possible, but sometimes facilities maybe withdrawn due to maintenance, we will inform you of any changes which may affect your holiday as soon as we possibly can.
Food Packages.
Some of our venues offer food packages, if you suffer from nut allergies or similar food related allergies, it is vital that you make this known to us when taking this offer up. If you have any special dietary needs, again please advise us as soon as possible so that we can try and make arrangements for you.
Preparing for your Journey.
If you are planning to drive to your destination using your own vehicle, it is your responsibility to ensure it is roadworthy and that you have given yourself enough time to reach your ferry port, refunds will not be available due to you breaking down or missing your ferry departure.
We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel and breakdown insurance cover for your holiday.
Our commitment to you.
Hooked on France is committed to ensuring that your holiday is everything that we promise and advertise, if in the unlikely event that you need to complain, in the first instance you must contact the bailiff or lake owner, who will do everything possible to resolve your complaint, if however you are not satisfied with how your complaint was dealt with, then contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate and endeavour to rectify any problems.
All the venues we advertise, have been visited, and assessed by our trained staff, and throughout the year they will continue to visit and monitor the venues to ensure that standards are maintained. We have made every effort to ensure that all your needs are catered for and that what is advertised on our website and in our brochure is correct and as up to date as possible.
